Wendy Pratt

Pratt is a poet, author, editor and workshop facilitator living and working on the North Yorkshire coast, where she grew up. She is the author of five collections of poetry. Her latest collection When I Think of My Body as a Horse (Smith|Doorstop Books) won the Poetry Business Book and Pamphlet award in 2021. She is the founder and editor in chief of Spelt Magazine, and runs courses and workshops at York Centre for Lifelong Learning.

Tracey Rose Peyton

Tracey Rose is a recent graduate of the Michener Center for Writers at University of Texas-Austin where she worked with Elizabeth McCracken and Bret Anthony Johnston.  Her short fiction has been published in Guernica, American Short Fiction, Prairie Schooner and elsewhere, and her short story, “The Last Days of Rodney,” was selected by Jesmyn Ward to appear in Best American Short Stories 2021.

Allison Pearson

Allison Pearson was born in South Wales. She is a columnist and feature writer for the Daily Telegraph. Allison’s first novel, I Don’t Know How She Does It, was an international bestseller; translated into 32 languages it was made into a movie of the same name. Rebecca Pert

Rebecca Pert was born in 1990, the youngest of four siblings. She grew up in a small town in Devon before attending Cardiff University, where she received an MA in Creative Writing. She now lives in Gloucestershire with her husband, son and dog. Still Water is her first novel.

Francine Prose

Francine Prose is the author of eighteen books of fiction, including Blue Angel, a finalist for the National Book Award. Her short story ‘The Mirror’ appeared in the short story collection Reader, I Married Him (2016). She lives in New York City.

Janice Pariat

Janice Pariat is the award-winning author of Boats on Land: A Collection of Short Stories, Seahorse: A Novel, and the international bestseller The Nine-Chambered Heart. She lives in India.

Michael Punke

Michael Punke is the author of The Revenant which was made into an Oscar winning movie directed by Alejandro Gonzalez starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He lives with his family in Montana. Punke is the history correspondent for Montana Quarterly magazine. Punke is also the author of a work of nonfiction, Fire and Brimstone: The North Butte Mining Disaster of 1917, a finalist for the Mountains and Plains Booksellers Award.

Matthew Plampin

Matthew Plampin is the author of several highly acclaimed historical novels, most recently Will and Tom and Mrs Whistler. He has a PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art and has worked as a lecturer, tour guide and children’s author. He lives in London with his wife and son.
